The Golden Era Party (GEP) is more than just a political movement; it is a powerful call to a new generation of Gambians to rise, lead, and transform our nation with purpose, courage, and vision.
Born from the urgent need for change, our party was founded on the belief that The Gambia is primed for a generational shift. This shift embraces economic independence over stagnation, unity over division, and bold, ethical leadership over complacency. We are committed to building a future that works for everyone.
Our mission is clear: to usher in a new chapter of national progress rooted in integrity, transparency, and people-centered governance. We stand for economic empowerment, youth empowerment, sustainable development, and policies that restore dignity and hope to every Gambian home. This is the Golden Era, and it begins with us.
At the forefront of this movement are visionary leaders like Saikou Sawo and Nenneh Kebe—changemakers who embody the spirit of service, accountability, and fearless advocacy. Together with you, they are ready to ignite a wave of reforms that will unlock the full potential of our nation.
To the youth: this is your moment. The future of The Gambia will not be dictated by yesterday’s failures but by today’s dreamers, doers, and defenders of justice. If you've ever felt unheard, unseen, or underestimated, this party was built for you.
We are calling on students, professionals, entrepreneurs, artists, farmers, and activists to join hands in shaping a government that truly reflects the will of the people. This is your invitation to be part of history, to lead the charge, to raise your voice, and to build the Gambia we all deserve.
- To create a Gambia where every citizen has the chance to thrive and achieve economic independence, where leadership is transparent, youth empowerment is prioritized, and progress is not just promised but delivered.
- This political movement focuses on instituting anti-corruption reforms, digitizing government services, and ensuring the rule of law. We aim to make transparency the standard across all levels of leadership.
- We welcome the Diaspora home by building a strategic platform for Gambians abroad to invest, return, contribute, and empower returning professionals to lead, mentor, and build in their areas of expertise.
- We will also build national programs that bridge divides and promote unity; The Gambia is stronger when all ethnic groups and regions are equally valued, and sustainable development is achieved for all.
- Committing to a no "child left behind" policy that ensures every child from the bustling streets of Banjul to the most remote villages receives the same standard of education and opportunity. This means fully equipping schools with qualified teachers, modern learning materials, and digital technology so our children are not left behind in a fast-changing, tech-driven global economy.
- Position Gambia as a leading destination for beauty tourism, medical tourism, and leisure travel, contributing to the country's economic independence.
- Attract investment to develop five-star hotels, eco-lodges, and modern entertainment venues that empower the youth and create jobs.
- Enhance and expand the international airport to support direct global travel, facilitating connections for a political movement towards sustainable development.
- Beautify and modernize the capital city to reflect progress and pride while developing iconic landmarks and parks to make Gambia a place of interest.
